Harness Design & Build Technician
Ball Ground, GA  ·  Full-Time

We're looking for a hands-on professional to prototype, test, and standardize wiring harnesses for FuelTech applications across cars, motorcycles, jet skis, trucks, and custom projects.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build Plug and Play, universal, and adapter harnesses for multiple engines and platforms
  • Define electrical architecture, select components, and integrate sub-harnesses (CAN, wideband, EGT, auxiliary modules)
  • Validate through bench testing — continuity, insulation resistance, voltage drop, and functional tests with ECU/actuators
  • Create and maintain technical documentation (diagrams, BOMs, build rules) to support transition to production
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Support, and Sales teams

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience building automotive or powersports wiring harnesses (OEM, aftermarket, or motorsport)
  • Proficiency in professional crimping, cable preparation, and electrical diagram reading
  • Solid understanding of CAN bus, sensor integration (0–5V, NTC, VR/Hall), and actuator wiring
  • Experience with technical documentation and revision control
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working cross-functionally
Sales Representative

  • Document customer interactions and feedback in the CRM system

Minimum Requirements

Motorsports Support Specialist

We're looking for a Motorsports Support Specialist to assist customers with technical problems. You should be an excellent communicator familiar with high-performance automotive tuning and wiring — helping us maintain our reputation for world-class tech support.

Responsibilities

  • Answer technical phone calls and emails with professionalism and accuracy
  • Provide tech support services to FuelTech customers
  • Race track technical support — travel may be required

Requirements

  • Experience in automotive performance and aftermarket
  • Aftermarket ECU tuning and installation experience
  • Strong understanding of internal combustion engines and high-performance wiring
  • FuelTech experience is a plus — we provide training for qualified candidates
  • Excellent phone and email communication skills; strong team player
  • Passionate about cars and racing; willing to travel to race track events
  • Spanish speaker is a plus
